Domestic (Japan) orders

Carriers

We mainly use Sagawa Express, and may also use Yamato Transport or Japan Post. A tracking number is provided for every item.

Shipping fees (within Japan)

Shipping within Japan is free, including Hokkaido and Okinawa.

Shipping time

After confirming stock and payment, we normally ship within 2 business days. Orders placed at or after 1:00 p.m. (Japan time) are accepted on the next business day. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, or during the year-end and New Year holidays. Orders placed on non-business days are handled in order from the next business day. After shipping, we will email you a tracking number so you can check the delivery status.

Packaging

We give top priority to protecting the item and pack it carefully using cushioning material.

Extended absence and refused delivery

If an item is returned to us because the carrier's storage period has passed, or if delivery is refused, we may charge you the round-trip shipping costs and fees we actually incurred.

The terms in this section apply to deliveries within Japan.

All items ship from Japan.

Carriers and shipping fees

Shipping to the United States is free. Orders of up to about US$1,250 ship with Yamato International; larger orders ship with DHL Express.

Duties and import taxes

Orders ship from Japan DDU (duties unpaid). Our prices do not include U.S. import duties, taxes or carrier fees. You are the importer of record, and the carrier (Yamato or DHL Express) will ask you to pay these charges before or on delivery. For orders over US$2,500, U.S. Customs requires a formal entry, and the carrier may ask you for an ID number (such as an SSN or EIN) to clear your package.

Refused or returned packages

If you refuse the package, do not pay the import charges, or do not collect it, it will be returned to us and we will refund your payment minus the cost of shipping the package to you, the return shipping cost charged to us, and any duties, taxes or carrier fees charged to us (itemized).
